On Tuesday, April 8th, 2014, CUPE members from Community Living Guelph Wellington were observed picketing outside of Liz Sandal’s office in dispute of a pay equity case brought to the Pay Equity Commission in March. The pay equity review body had informed Community Living Guelph Wellington that it is required to pay both their union and non-union employees’ adjustments dating back 4 years. The agency stated that their current funding would not allow for these adjustments. This case will be ongoing. Is your organization compliant with Pay Equity legislation?
